After graduating from the University of New Mexico with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Kassie made the decision to take time away from work to raise their daughter, Avery. After working for one of the largest brokerage firms in the US, Kassie felt a pull to work with children and young adults within the mental health industry. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health and Wellness from Grand Canyon University in 2018 and began her work within the mental health field as a youth case manager for a mental health services provider in Kansas.
